in case you aren't familiar with the term...

Many people have written to ask me what a NOID is. Well, it's the WORST thing you can get from our government when trying to adopt a child internationally. It's a Notice Of Intent to Deny your child a visa to enter the USA.
You have 3 choices when presented with a NOID...

1. leave the child and walk away
2. live in the country with your child for 2 years, then a visa will be issued
3. hire an attorney, for $20,000 to fight it

We're hiring an attorney and will fight! Leaving Hannah to live her childhood in an orphanage is NOT an option for us. Her birth mother has said all the charges in the NOID are FALSE. She wants her daughter to be adopted and live in America!

  1. I am assuming this is a denial on behalf of the US government and not Hannah's birth country?
This is horrible, and I hope that your attorney can get this fixed ASAP. It really angers me that this innocent little girl is going to sit in an orphanage every day that she could already be home with her loving family. Our prayers are with you!

  2. I think that this whole thing is unbelievably unjust - both to you guys & Hannah. How could anyone think a life in an orphanage is better for a child!? Even her birth mother wants her to have a better chance at life!
