School started yesterday!
YEAH for me!!
My little boys were loaded down with school supplies for their classrooms. Don't get me started on why we have to supply the public schools when we pay super high property taxes here in South Florida...
So, my 4 little cuties went to school yesterday.
Ryan was all smiles as usual and Megan, well, let's just say Megan has been waiting for this day since the last day of 6th grade. She was upset they had no homework assignments last night. "What's the point of going to school if they don't give us homework? Isn't that the purpose of being in school" ? Oh, Meg is in Violin class for 2 semesters MAYBE, they told her because of budget cuts there may not be enough violins to go around and she may have to supply her own ..... I DON'T THINK SO! I should buy a violin for 2 semesters? Is it me? Am I the one not thinking correctly here? I know there will be no violin purchased in this house. A baby grand piano was enough!
Molly, poor Molly, she dreaded the first day of Middle School as it was, half way through the day, they discovered they put her in 7th grade classes! And of course they couldn't fix it until today. SO today is another FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for her. I hope today is a better day for her.
Mr. Austin was happy to get on the bus and see Miss Sue again, He had orientation last Thursday so knew he was going back to his "other mommy". Of course today was a different story. The bus driver had to get off the bus and give him hugs to get him back on this morning. Tomorrow she said to send him with some toys to play with. Poor Baby!
My little girls were happy to be home alone. They went grocery shopping and to McDonalds for lunch.
Today they are lonely and want to know when they are going to McDonalds and when will Ryan be home.

FUN ON SANIBEL

We celebrated Kim's birthday at Sanibel Island today and saw our 2 week old great-grandson for the first time. He is just Adorable! What a good baby he is. Oh so sweet.
The water was murky and rough but when the tide went out it was so nice!
The drive over was relaxing and on the way home everyone slept. Mike and I actually got to talk with each other for 2 whole hours.
Here are some photos we took today. Looks like a need a new camera. These pics aren't clear so I think Santa needs to bring me a new one.

It's been too long since I've posted. We've been really busy. Lots of iron's in the fire. Lots of things going on behind the scenes.
Where did Summer go???
School starts Monday the 24th. I'm looking forward to that more than the kids are. Although I'm not looking forward to getting up early. Well, I do get up early, but now I'll have to function early. No more grabbing a cup of tea and heading to the computer to check emails while waiting for the littles to wake up one at a time. I guess I'll be cooking early breakfasts. Ryan can't go without his eggs. I started making MICKEY EGGS so now everyone is eating them. I bought this egg thing years ago at Disney and only this week started using it. So now our "eyeball" eggs look like a MICKEY head. then I cut the toast with the thing and they have matching eggs and toast. FUN FUN FUN!
Sunday we're going to Sanibel Island to see the new baby and celebrate Kim's birthday with her. Can't wait to see Mr. Lucus.
Ryan has more testing scheduled this month in preparation for his next surgery. Thank goodness Mike has a job where he can take off anytime he needs to. He takes Ryan to all his appointments. What a good daddy! He's having a swallowing test on Monday and in 2 weeks another test where they put a camera down his nose to watch him talk. My poor baby. He's such a brave little boy.
We were just on the DISNEY site looking at passes. GEESH! What are they thinking? Our passes expired and it'll take a stimulus check to renew them all. The big girls want to go in Oct. Amy and my birthday are a day apart and close to Halloween so maybe we will go for MICKEY'S NOT SO SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY.
Do you hear that? QUIET~~~ they are all sleeping. Ahhh peace and quiet.
