They LOST the game last night. It was UGLY...ALOT to NUTHIN', UGH, what a way to end the season. Of course Meg doesn't have a clue as to why the girls on her team are all so upset. She just had FUN. She's been home from China 3 years now and this is her second season of softball. She has a great time. I think she might have hit the ball 3 times :) Although she got to first base many more times, she seems to always get in the way of the pitch! Awards are Friday night.. She asked if it was going to be the same trophy as last season. We'll see. And I'll post a pic :)

Awwww, Meg has it right, it's about having fun, regardless if you win or lose, and about doing your best. Meg is a winner in our book! Huge congratulations to Meg for making it this far and for getting three hits, yay!

ReplyDeleteSh'e looking forward to next season already, but I told her she is going back to Chinese classes, and they are on Saturdays. She's refusing to speak Chinese at home and I won't allow her to lose her language at this late date. She only speaks Mandarin/Cantonese with her best friend Jessica.
The 3 hits? That's the total for the season! LOL
